What we saw in Paris

More from our trip: All the photosWhat we ate

Arc de Triomphe.

Sacre Couer.  Very crowded, but views were worth it.

Notre Dame.  Worth the wait in line to climb to the top.

Eiffel Tower.  We didn’t go up, but the park near it was pretty and has a new peace statue installation.

Flower markets, Île de la Cité

Champs-Elysees at Dusk

Mémorial de la Déportation.  Memorial to those deported to concentration camps during WWII.  At the end of Île de la Cité.

Tour Saint-Jaques.  Rather random tower, but visible from lots of parts of the city and has a nice park around it and fun gargolyes and statues on top.

My favorite sight – the space invaders!  We were always on the lookout, especially in the Marais.

Rodin Museum Garden. Beautiful roses and a good way to see some Rodin without paying for/spending the time to do the full museum.
